Full grooms for small Northbridge dogs.

A full groom is everything in one visit. We start by feeling the coat and chatting through the finish you’d like, then it’s a warm bubble bath, a gentle blow-dry, a thorough brush-out and the trim you agreed.

We tidy the face, feet and hygiene areas, trim nails and clean ears if you’d like, and finish with a last fluff. If the coat has knots, we’ll tell you honestly what’s kinder to brush out and what’s kinder to clip.

Not sure what finish to choose? Bring a photo of a look you like, or tell us how much brushing you can manage at home, and we’ll suggest something that suits.

How it goes

Bubble by bubble.

  1. Hello & coat check

We feel the coat, check for knots and agree the finish.

  2. Bubble bath

Warm water and a gentle shampoo suited to their coat.

  3. Towel & blow-dry

At a speed and warmth they’re comfortable with.

  4. Brush & trim

Brushed out, then the trim you agreed.

  5. Fluffy out

A final fluff and a note on how it went.

Every coat

Planned around their coat.

  • Curly coats

Fully dried straight, then scissored or clipped to the length you’d like.

  • Double coats

A deep wash and a thorough de-shed. We don’t shave double coats unless your vet advises it.

  • Silky coats

Gently de-tangled, with a neat tidy around the eyes, ears and feet.

  • Short coats

A good bath, a rubber-brush de-shed, nails and ears. Quick and fresh.

About knots and mats.

A few knots brush out with patience. Tight mats close to the skin are a different story, and brushing them out can hurt. If we find mats, we’ll call you, explain what we see and agree the kindest way forward before we carry on.

Regular brushing at home and a groom every few weeks keeps most coats knot-free. Ask us and we’ll suggest a routine that suits their coat.

Bring along
